Hubei Tian Men Pump Industry Co., LTD., a joint stock—holding Co. originates from Tian Men Pump-manufacturing factory, which is the key manufacturer inChinain aspects of the production of slurry pump, water-supplying pump for boiler and chemical pump with twelve series of more than 400 specifications. An institute for developing new products has been founded. In this way all the products are devised with the CAD. For such design the accomplishment of the preliminary process is followed by the treatment of CFD to improve the initial design and at last the CAPP technology and processing-control is further employed. Besides the corporation has collaborated with Huazhong University of Science & Technology(HUST) and Hubei Machinery and Electricity Institute with an effort to promote the capacity of slurry pump and the anti-wearing and anti-corrosion of materials for the pump, which yields the established role in several leading areas which results in the published papers in the academic journals in《Pump Technology》and《Hydraulic Abrasion》and《Fluid Machinery》. In particular the metallic slurry pump of anti-wearing and anti-abrasion co-developed with the institute was awarded the scientific achievements of second rank in 1991.
